Combining the world’s largest multi-channel, multi-cultural content distribution and optimization network with comprehensive workflow tools and platforms, PR Newswire enables the world’s enterprises to engage opportunity everywhere it exists. PR Newswire serves tens of thousands of clients from offices in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region, and is a United Business Media company.”

PR Newswire offers a variety of media distribution services including both annual contracts and customizable service agreements. They can provide a full service experience from simple press release distribution to multimedia news releases with their own video production facilities.

PR Newswire operates an online member center for customers to add their own press releases and multimedia material to their releases and projects. They offer complementary analytical systems called Visibility reports and Releasewatch reports which are a specific PR results based report on how effective the press release was.

They offer full SEO support and a comprehensive Social Media support service with an unrivaled reach of sites and referrers.

A huge contact database exists for subscribers to take advantage off which encompasses every point from international media organizations to small scale bloggers, newswires, websites, writers and opinion formers.

Overall PRNewsWire Review

PR Newswire is the largest, most polished and comprehensive website in the press release distribution industry. Offering a myriad of services, the corporate feel will be comforting but could also be intimidating to the novice or smaller organization looking to use media services. Their fully resourced customer services would look to assuage any misgivings however.

  1. Ted Fullerton

Outrageously expensive. I also had to pay them a “membership fee” of $275 before I could even send out a PR. Just insane!

  2. Annoyed PR Firm Manager

Though very functional for the account team, prepare for the billing to be an absolute nightmare. They double or triple-charge you for bills you’ve already paid, they run payments at random times (such as Sundays), and just generally make things as confusing as possible for you. It frankly seems illegal. I think that they do it because most companies just let the charges slide right by without double checking them? I encourage clients to review their payment history.
